Love you more than Coffee Flamingo card

Love having coffee even more in a tropical setting like this!! Yes, I drink way more in the Florida Keys than anywhere else! Here I am having my second come this morning and getting to share my latest card for the #springsummer2018clh!
Here are the details: Using a precut card base, I added this fabulous scallop coaster I found at a local coffee shop, and this after die cutting the sentiment stamped from Gloria Stengel's fabulous "Love you more than Coffee" Hampton Art wood mount stamp. Stamps crisp every time!
For the more Tropical feel I use Little B's Tropical die to cut out all the die cuts and had a great time doing it! I actually die these when we had Hurricane Irma in 2017 and had lost electricity. I used my Spellbinders Platinum 6. This kept me happy and thinking "happy thoughts" during the high winds!!! ;)

Stamplorations Stacked Tea Cups

Well, here I am again, with Stamplorations Framed Tea Cups because I ljust love it!!! I also love to paper piece if I have time to play with different patterns. So I wanted to use these beautiful patterns from Graphic 45 Artisan Style collection. You know I couldn't have done this without my trustie MISTI to stamp and restamp and restamp the same images over and over. Used Memento Tuxedo Black ink by the way.
To fully give this card the perfect sentiment, I chose Gloria Stengel's More Than Coffee Stamp.

Newton's Nook Cuppa Cactus Card

I just love the perfect cup of coffee from the adorable Newton's Cuppa Cactus which I stamped with Memento Tuxedo black using my MISTI tool. I wanted this to have more dimension so I used Strathmore Artist Papers in their Illustration Board to do just that. It has a thick base but you must be careful coloring with Copic Markers which can be absorbed and colors run more easily. May Arts twine in natural color was then wrapped three times around the navy cardstock base, and tied with a double bow and then Nuvo Crystal Drops in English Mustard added for that extra texture as well.
Copic  .Markers included: YG63, YG67, YG21, R39, R29, Y13, Y17, B21, B28, B18.

Paper Smooches Cup Card

Using the Kaisercraft Pineapple die and the Paper Smooches coffee cup (& tea) die and another die for the spoon, I paper pieced this card to make it feel like the balmy summer nights ahead. All papers are from my stash but most are the Basic Grey South Pacific collection. Hope you are enjoying the Bloghop!

Stamplorations Framed Tea Cups Card

Good morning and this is Day 2 of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop and am using Super Sponsor, Stamplorations image. This is Stamplorations Framed Tea Cups stamp which I had a blast coloring!!! The Copic Markers are : Y11, Y13, Y32, Y35, Y38, BG10, BG11, BG13, RV25, RV29, E50. E53. The image is just so fun and a joy to play with!!
The pre-made card has a flap so I adhered the image to that flap and put a cream colored piece behind it to write a note on. I added The Cat's Pajamas sentiment and made a flap which holds the image in place and sealed the edge of the flap with the pearl. Nuvo Crystal Drops in two colors and Ranger glossy accents were added as well to add some dimension. I added matching pattern paper from my stash to finish it. Simple and so colorful!! Enjoy the hop!!

Coffee Lover's Bloghop

To start off with my first for this Spring + Summer Coffee Lover's Bloghop, I chose Newton's Cuppa Cactus which I stamped with Memento Tuxedo black using my MISTI tool. I used Strathmore plain cardstock ATC paper. I then colored using my Copic Markers: YG63, YG67, YG21, RV29, RV14, RV13, E50, E53, W1, W3 which all matched the Basic Grey pattern papers I had chosen. This collection is called South Pacific and the flower paper is Tahiti. Then Nuvo Crystal Drops in black were added to have a finished look.
The front panel was then glued down using the BG papers onto a folded 4.5" x 5.25" card made of a bright green cardstock.
I fussy cut the flower and leaf and added them under my ATC piece for some interest.

Don't forget that today the Spring + Summer Coffee Lover's Bloghop starts! My card is #86 if you are looking for it!

Craft Fantastic Jewelry from Scrapbook Expo Orlando

Hey ladies, I had the awesome opportunity to go to the local Scrapbook Expo Orlando here in town a few weeks ago.  I had attended both days and on going the second day, arrived at the Craft Fantastic booth to do their Make & Take and found that they are selling, ONLY ON Saturday for ours, this fantastic collection of pieces worth $30 for only $15!! I had purchased the day before and was so amazed at the value of this that I bought it! These are just some of the pieces I made. The Rose images were taken from their Mexican Roses images which the nice lady let me take from the M&T images since she was out of the sheet of images at her booth. The second image is from a sheet also given to me and was used on their double sided butterfly necklace that was not apart of the value bag. Here are more pictures of the bag's contents:
Look at that owl alone!!! I made the earrings immediately and used the images there since I couldn't find the sheet to buy. Here are the jewelry pieces in various colors, but the key ring pieces I did get separately and they were not apart of the bag. This also came with the glass domes for each.
I learned that if you want to remove a piece of paper you have just glued down, to put it under running water and wash with dawn if needed, to remove the paper completely. Then dry it and begin again. Amazing how much we learn when we make mistakes!!! Loads of fun to play with these fun pieces!
You can find shopping pieces online here at Craft Fantastic Kit of the month or Craft Fantastic
I am not paid for this article but thought you would like to know this fun company.

Altenew Painted Flowers with Favorite Scripty Word

May 2018 Altenew Challenge
Altenew has so many beautiful flowers and this is one of my favorites!!! It's Painted Flowers Stamp set which has many layers. The Super Script Scrapbook Stamp set and die were also my newest buy! So I thought I would play along with their May 2018 Challenge which is a color challenge of Pink, Aqua, and Teal.
Using my Misti tool, I stamped clusters of the muli-step flowers staying with the color theme. First layers were stamped with Versa Mark ink and embossed with gold. I used the Pink, and Agua and Teal inks for the flowers. I then cut them out and rearranged them on another piece of the same 80 lb Neenah cardstock till I liked it. I ultimately wanted different depths and heights with the flowers and the die cut word. I then stamped the word "favorite" in the center using the teal ink, and die cut it afterward with my Platinum 6 machine. Carefully I replaced the die cut "favorite" word inside the card and glued it down. I added one more pink blossom on the inside and then added matching sequins in Pink Cotton Candy and Seaside Breeze from Kennedy Grace Creations.
Hope you enjoy my card for the challenge and you may want to play along yourself.

Dusty Attic Fancy Frames Budapest Layout

I really centered this layout around the gorgeous goodies from Dusty Attic in Australia. These included Fancy Frames #5; Wordpl@y #2 in black; and Memories title. I painted with Liquitex clear Gesso, and then with Plaid FolkArt in Gold. Wish I could get their Gesso but couldn't find it at my local store. Shucks!!!! Also used Canvas Corp Tattered Angels Turquoise Spray in Dragonfly for the Memories piece. Was the perfect shade!

Photo Details: These beautiful pictures are of the fabulous streets in Budapest that we walked all in one day/morning. The Gabor statue on the left page is one of their heroes that was a linguist. Beautiful work throughout the city but this is just some of them! The right page has St.Stephen's Cathedral, and other statues. It was a cold December morning with a clear blue sky! Great fun and walk!

Here's how I made this:
Using an EK Success retractable blade, I cut out the corset from the Bo Bunny Somewhere in Time Chrononaut paper. I used 2 of these sheets and saved the 2nd corset for another layout. ;)
After adhering a scrap of cardstock where I had removed it, I then used pop ups to add the dimension. Before placing it down, I added Ranger Gold Glitter stickles along the black lines. I also used liquid glue to adhere the string of pearls to the bottom. Also, tucked a piece of lace under the bottom edge as well. What fun is this gorgeous piece of paper!!!! Used Bo Bunny Memento from the same collection and a sticker as well.
I used scraps of a Bazzill Cardstock in two shades of green turquoise and black to mat the pics using my 12" trimmer.
I arranged all of the items until I liked it, and then started putting the tag together. Loved playing with the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Game Spinners as well the clock faces. What fun!
I glued all down with Beacons 3 in 1 and it won't be moving.
